Dear blessed and wicked ones,

We’ve got a brief yet crucial update to share regarding the latest happenings in our fulfillment journey. Here’s the scoop on the US/CA/RoTW, UK/EU, and Australia lanes:

UK/EU Lane

Exciting news! Thanks to some stellar teamwork on QMLs and UK hub’s side, they’ve managed to expedite the fulfillment process for the UK/EU lane, with plans of deliveries set to commence this or next week! The stock has landed, and we’re gearing up for a swift and smooth movement in this lane. Get ready, UK/EU backers—the wait is almost over!

Address Changes: At this point we won’t be able to receive address changes as things are already being prepared. However, any address changes that you submitted before this update have already been forwarded to the shipping hub.

Australia Lane

Down under, the stock has safely arrived, and we’re just dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s as we await the final count of goods. We have sadly had some delays due to the queue on the Australia side. We anticipate fulfillment to kick into gear by mid-November. We’ll keep you posted on any changes, but rest assured, your Corpus Collection is on its way!

Address Changes: At this point, it will be very hard for us to solve any address changes, but there’s still a chance as the deliveries in Australia are still in queue. So if you need to change your address you can still message us and with some luck we may be able to implement it. On the other hand, any address changes that you submitted before this update have already been forwarded to the shipping hub.

US/CA/RoTW Lane

Stateside, we’ve got some promising updates. The warehouse appointment for today marks the arrival of goods, and with a few final touches left (think test pack photos and AVS emails), we’re gearing up for a mid-November start in the US lane as well, earlier than previously planned! Progress is on track, and we’ll keep you in the loop as we move steadily toward the finish line. Stay tuned for more exciting news!

Address Changes: All backers connected to the US lane deliveries (US, Canada, Rest of the World) will receive a confirmation email for their addresses (Address Verification System emails). If you have an address change you can do so with this email that you’ll receive soon.

Finally, for our backers in the US and Canada, expect the magic to arrive by late November. Please check the details on the dates below:

Address Lockdowns

We will lockdown the address and will not be able to receive new addresses on a region after that region’s arrival to the hub. This means that we won’t be able to make changes on your addresses after mid October for Australia and late October for UK/EU regions.

As courtesy of Quartermaster Logistics operating directly in the US / Canada / RotW regions, backers in these regions wont have a lockdown on their addresses. Instead, they’ll receive an address-confirmation email from QML when the time comes (possibly at the time of mid November). So if you are in the US/Canada/RotW regions and planning to update your address, please wait for the email from QML.

Dear blessed and wicked ones,

We appreciate your continued support and patience as we work diligently to bring your rewards to life. Here’s the latest update on the shipping status, as well as some important lessons we’ve learned that we’d like to share with you, which we are certain will help us improve in the future.

What’s the Status

As of now, we are pleased to inform you that all items are in the process of being loaded onto the freight ship. Our team is working closely with our logistics partners to ensure a smooth transition from our production facility to your doorstep. We’re eagerly awaiting the details on the freight ship and the freight process, and we promise to provide you with another update as soon as we receive more information. We will also try to share tracking information for the freight ships with you if we can get them.

What Could Have Been Done Better

Just as we realize that there were many elements that were out of our control that have ensured such a delay on the fulfillment of this project, we acknowledge that there were things that we could have done better as well. We’ve summarized these issues as well as the measures we’ve considered and implemented to fix them below.

Graphic Design and New Design Elements: We acknowledge that we encountered challenges in managing the extensive graphic design and new design elements required for the various non-book items we offered in this campaign. In hindsight, this was the first time we worked on such items, and we should have allocated more time and resources to streamline this process to ensure a smoother and more efficient production pipeline.

Communication with the Printer: We apologize for the communication issues we had with our printer during the production phase, which we think could have been handled better. Additionally, we understand your frustration with the delay caused by our printer’s slower-than-expected turnaround time. We have taken this feedback seriously and will explore alternative printing options for future projects to ensure faster and more reliable delivery times.

Issue Detection and Resolution: Our team also acknowledges that we could have done a better job at detecting and addressing detailed issues promptly and clearly. The sheer volume of items in this campaign made it challenging to identify and resolve issues as efficiently as we would have liked, not to mention the poor communication in between for all these items. We will implement better quality control measures and communication channels to avoid similar delays in the future.

We genuinely appreciate your understanding and support throughout this journey. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to learning from these experiences to make future projects even more successful.

Once again, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have faced due to these challenges. We are dedicated to delivering a high-quality product to you, and we will keep you updated on the progress of your rewards.

What are our Estimated Dates

We are now looking at a fulfillment delivery time in late October to within November for the US. We expect the delivery for Australia to happen much sooner than that, possibly in late September. And deliveries for the UK and EU/Europe will happen sometime in between. We cannot pinpoint an exact date for this latest one as we are now working with a new partner (through QML) for the UK and EU/Europe fulfillment.

These estimated dates will become more accurate once we receive the freight details, and they continue to become more and more accurate throughout the further steps of the shipments.

Freight is Due!

Dear blessed and wicked ones,

We are here today with news on our printing and freight shipping. Since our last update, delays have continued to happen. Yet, we are finally done with printing, and things will move much more smoothly from now on. All the books are now printed, the dice and miniatures have been manufactured and the miniatures are currently being assembled.

Printing and Manufacturing is Complete

As you may recall, all the items were still in the sampling process the last time we posted an update. Currently, all their printings and manufacturing are complete. Below, you can see photos and videos of some of the items that are ready!

We initially planned to put the miniatures in boxes, but last week, our printer suggested using clamshell packaging for more protection and we decided to go with that. Currently the clamshells for the miniatures are being prepared and both the assembling of the miniatures and the preparation of the miniature packages are expected to be done by the end of the week.

If all goes well, packaging and palletizing will take place next week, and the packages will be ready for freight.

Shipping Process

While the packages are being prepared for the freight, we are also booking the containers for the freight. We expect that we’ll be able to get the pallets into the containers in the week after palletizing is complete. Summer is relatively idle in global shipping, so we think there won’t be any waiting at the port.

With containers sent to the US, UK, and Australia, if no waits occur in the customs, we think your rewards will be delivered within late September and early October.

Some Regions Will Fulfill Earlier

Our items are being shipped from our printer in China to the fulfillment centers, and all fulfillment centers operate at different capacities. Given all these variables, it is natural that some of the regions will begin the fulfillment before others.

Here is what you can expect for the fulfillment times: Australia and Asia backers will receive their rewards first, as our printer is closest to these hubs.

UK/EU backers should receive their rewards second. We are saying “should” because somehow the bureaucracy took a while and UK/EU fulfillment happened relatively at the same time as the US/CA fulfillment in our last Kickstarter campaign. Yet, we changed our shipping partner in the UK to a more integrated one and expect that they will be faster this time. Due to the distance between China and the UK being mid-range, they should be the second to fulfill.

Finally, US backers will receive their rewards third, and Canada and Rest of the World backers will receive their rewards last. This is due to their items being shipped from the US hub, and it takes a while in customs for Canada, and a while in transport for the rest of the World.

We are telling you this in order to ease your mind in terms of the expectation of deliveries. In previous Kickstarter campaigns when some of our backers in closer regions commented that they have received their rewards, some of our backers in the further regions thought there was a problem with their delivery. Please take note of this estimation and know that it is natural for some regions’ deliveries to occur weeks or even a month before the others.
