Bloodpunk Launched!

We would like to share with you the joyous news that we have just launched Bloodpunk!

Bloodpunk is a new and unique way of re-imagining a “punk” setting, it has similarities with others (steampunk, cyberpunk, dieselpunk, etc) yet it uses blood-based technology with an unusual combination of Victorian and art-deco aesthetic.

Bloodpunk takes place in a realm called Tolia. Tolia is a dark, dystopic, and ominous setting where blood started to be used in blood engines as the main source of energy after the exploration of a magical crystal, Angst. Wars, darkness, gruesomeness, and danger infest Tolia like an epidemic, and people are bound to live in either one of the cities: Kanrath or Cyherested, or face death in the deadly wilderness.

Corpus Angelus is Released!

Hello dear wicked and blessed ones,

We would like to joyously and proudly let you know that the PDF of Corpus Angelus is finally complete!

While making our last revision and making the release, we realized that this happened to be the best work our team has done so far! We hope you like it as much as we do, and enjoy this book in your adventures and campaigns, whether you are GMs or player characters.

As of this time that we are posting this update, we have already sent you the links for the PDF to your emails. Please wait for a day to make sure you receive it. If you haven’t received your PDFs after a day, please let us know by sending us a Kickstarter message and providing your email address in the message.

Bloodpunk is Launching Next Month!

We also want to remind you that our next Kickstarter project, Bloodpunk, will launch in May. You can get to the pre-launch page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/corpusmalicious/bloodpunk-a-victorian-setting-and-a-dark-adventure-for-5e , we are planning to launch it on May 17th.

Bloodpunk is a dark-victorian setting with blood as the prime fuel of steam-age technology. It will include a whole overhaul of 5E that suits that technological age, as well as nefty politics and two ominous cities to explore, whether in grand balls or on the shady back streets. The Kickstarter campaign will consist of two books; an adventure for 1-7th levels called Bloodpunk: Heritage of the Damned and a campaign setting book called Bloodpunk: Region Guide to Tolia. You can find the rest of the details on our previous update.

Final Phases for Corpus Angelus Layout

Hello dear wicked and blessed ones,

Today, we are here with the latest news on our upcoming books. All the artwork is ready for the book and thus Corpus Angelus will be released soon! We also have a nice surprise for you regarding our next Kickstarter project, Bloodpunk!

Corpus Angelus

All the artwork for Corpus Angelus is complete, and we are at the final phase on the book’s layout. This means that we will be releasing the PDF of Corpus Angelus very soon! For you to share in our excitement, we would like to show a quick glimpse of some of our pages from the book!

Loniel and the Lore Books

We have news of Loniel and the lore books as well! Work for the artwork of Loniel has begun and they will be done in a short while. The writing of the lore books are also going strong, getting closer and closer to the editing phase.

Corpus Angelus Layout Is Nearly Done!

Hello dear wicked and blessed ones,

Today, we wanted to provide you with an update on our progress with Corpus Angelus, Loniel, and the Lore Books. We’d like to share with you the awesome news that the layout of Corpus Angelus is almost done! We have some good news on the process of Loniel and the Lore Books as well!

Corpus Angelus

With the editing and proofreading now complete, we have moved onto the layout phase of Corpus Angelus. Having planned an effective schedule, we are completing between 30-50 pages each day on the layout. In fact, we have just finished chapter 4 and are beginning our final chapter, 5. On the other hand, we are waiting for some monster artworks to be completed for the final release of the PDF. This means that we will hopefully be releasing the PDF of the book around the end of this month!

Loniel

The writing for Loniel is also complete! We are pushing forward with the edit, as well as the proofreading of the edited parts. We think we will be ready to work on the layout of the book as soon as the layout of Corpus Angelus is complete.

Lore Books

Writing of the lore books is going strong; both books are halfway done in terms of the content. By the time they are written, our editor and proofreader will have finished with their work on Loniel and Angelus, and will thus move on to the editing and proofing of the lore books.

Corpus Angelus Going Strong!

Hello there wicked and blessed ones,

Today, we wanted to provide you with an update on our progress with Corpus Angelus, Loniel, and the Lore Books. We’re glad to say that we seem to be moving on schedule and will power through full steam ahead!

Corpus Angelus

We are proud to say that we are finished with the writing, are well into the editing phase, and are about to get started on the proofreading. We had already finished the initial reading before providing you with the Alpha Document, and we have now begun implementing your most valued feedback to it. After we’re done, and the proofreading is also complete, the book will be all but finished!

Loniel

Work for Loniel is also going in full swing. As of now, 75% of the written work (editing included) is complete. After the editing phase, the book will be proofread, and we’ll be done!

Artwork

We are also happy to announce that we’ve made headway with the artwork for both of the books. As of now, we’re finished with the designs of:

• 57 Items
• 25 Monsters
• 28 NPCs
• 37 Archetypes, and
• 25 Key Arts.

We expect that the remainder will be complete by the end of March, which means we’ll be over one of the greatest hurdles by then!

Lore Books

As we’ve mentioned, we have also started on the writing of the Lore Books for Corpus Angelus and Corpus Malicious. The outline and planning stage for both books has been completed and 10% of the writing has also been finished. We will, of course, provide you with sample pages and artwork as we go.
